Lovely views of sunsets and the passing parade on the Malecon. Had several great meals last fall.
Very nice service. A must: do not leave PV without having Vitea's cold tomato gazpacho with cucumber, sweet peppers and cream! It is the most memorable soup I've found in 35 years of gourmet dining ande cooking. Great location for lunch or dinner. Take a table outside rather than inside behind glass.

Crowded, with good reason

We ate at Vitea last time we were in town and had a wonderful meal. I had the Red Snapper and my wife had one of the best chicken dishes in town (she still raves about it). We waited about 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth the wait. Excellent service and a great view of the sunset. It's been added to our regular list of places to eat. Looking forward to going back in February.

A bit expensive

The place has a great location. Service hours are great too (kitchen closes at midnight. Food is good, not great. I had heard excellent comments from Vitea, so I had high expectations. At the end, prices seemed to me a bit high for what you get. The place is great for drinks if you seat on the outside tables. Cheers!
