Le Kliff is the place to eat in Puerto Vallarta!!Rated:![]() by Sandy from USA Written 1 month ago | My boyfriend and I went to Puerto Vallarta on the Mexican Riviera cruise. He said he wanted to take me to this restaurant, which I knew nothing about. WOW! I was so surprised! The ambience, food and views were ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!! The food was amazing, and you can't not beat the views! We were there right before the sun set, and you can not beat the sunset!!! You see it all! I would definitely recommend going to Le Kliff when you are in Puerto Vallarta... IT IS A MUST EXPERIENCE!! |
Go once for the View, Eat Before You GoRated:![]() by Les from Canada Written 2 months ago | The grounds are spectacular - no question but you can get much better food from the street carts. Also, as warm as it may be when you leave your hotel, take sweater / jacket as it can get very windy and cool. The view and the grounds compensate for the average food. |
Le KliffRated:![]() by Kathryn from USA Written 4 months ago | Went there with my family and it was love at first sight I will get married here :) |
Better LOVE seafoodRated:![]() by Kristin from USA Written 1 year ago | This is the place for you if you LOVE seafood. This is not your usual lobster- it tastes much different than lobster you get in the states. Also they serve it with lobster bisque and even seafood butter for the bread! I am not that big of a seafood fan, and so I left a little hungry. Also the cost just to get to this rest. from downtown PV in TAXI was $40 plus the dinner was $120 for 2 lobster meals. Didn't seem worth it to me, but like I said- if you LOVE seafood you may enjoy it! P.S. The view was amazing, make your reservation for 1/2 hour before sunset, and be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to get there- it's pretty far. |
Le Kliff Chefby David from USAWritten 1 year ago | We have been going to PV for many years. Le Kliff has always been one of our favorite places to eat. Great food and atmosphere. the last couple times the quality and taste of the food wasn't very good. A friend that lives down there said they got a new Chef and he just isn't as good as cooks in the past. Our lobster was the texture of mashed patatoes. Go there, have a drink or two and go somewhere else to eat. It's a great place with bad food. |
Solo female travelerby gloria from USWritten 1 year ago | I went by city bus...it was fine....there were other tourists on the bus too....someone recommended LeKliff. The place is spectacular, the sunset was breathtaking....there was a wedding reception the late afternoon I was there....I thoroughly enjoyed the mariachi band, the beautiful bride, all the guests all dressed up ....
however, my lobster was not good and expensive. If I went back, I would not order lobster, but I would go back!! |
Beautiful place, mediocre foodRated:![]() by Vicky McG' from San Diego, CA, USA Written 1 year ago | I have to agree with Steve (reviewer - 4 mos ago). I hate to say this, but, the food is mediocre to low-average. I can't believe it since I've heard so many good things about this place. We politely told the waiter that both my husband's and my entrees were not good&the manager came over, appologized&replaced it with something equally bad. We didn't make a fuss, we just know we will not return. And we rarely complain. It is pretty pricey, but I would have gone back for sure if the food was good. I love the location, the atmosphere. The restaurant resembles a kind of huge Tiki hut in Polynesia. The service was very good, but the food was overcooked and just didn't taste good, the sauces either. Very disappointed. The food gets 2 stars, the ambiance/location gets 5 stars. |
Fabulous!by annie from usaWritten 1 year ago | I was there last April, and WOW! GREAT service, GREAT food, and that view is simply breathtaking. Yes, it's expensive, but worth it! I'm definitely going back when I return, and I recommended it to two friends who just booked reservations for a special dinner there in a couple of weeks.

Highly recommended restaurantRated:![]() by Liselott Hilltun from Sweden Written 2 years ago | This restaurant is something special, if I should arrange some big celebration like a marriage or a birthday, I would choose this place. The food is excellent and the view so wonderful that you don′t want to leave the restaurant! |
Worth a VisitRated:![]() by Steve from USA Written 2 years ago | The view is the best part of this restaurant. It felt like we would never get there, it is way out of Puerto Vallarta. I considered the food to be at best average. Service was good. Prices were expensive. It is worth it to go once to say you were there and see the sunset but after that I would find some other place to go. |
