Description

From the owners of Mariscos Tino's, La Laguna opened its doors in 1999 in Nuevo Vallarta, becoming one of the most successful restaurants in the area, characterized by its service, pleasant family atmosphere, excellent food and reasonable prices.

The chain is famous for its specialty of the house: the Breaded Fish “Zarandeado” (Red Snapper) made with an original mixture of spices and prepared over hot coals with the special recipe, fresh lobster, octopus, mussels, snail and clams. The menu includes salads, seafood appetizers, cocktails, soups, special of shrimp or fish fillet dishes, desserts and a wide variety of drinks.

The restaurant offers a fresh atmosphere, surrounded of vegetation and I joust on the edge of a lagoon, ideal to be enjoyed in family.

We have eaten at this delightful rustic restaurant several times during our visits to PVR in the last 10 years, most recently in March 2009.
The food is always excellent, the staff is happy and efficient, the ambience is very casual under an open palapa.

Great atmosphere

Even thought the Highway is right out the front door, the atmosphere, service, and the food stole our attention. The kids loved feeding the turtles even though there were 5-6 signs asking people not to. I am sure we will eat here at least once every time we visit NV.

Awsome

We were in Nuevo Vallarta @ the grand mayan and enjoyed La Laguna two times while we were there in January 2009. My recommendation would be the taco apps, and the shrimp in a blanket. We also took nine people there for dinner our last night in town and only cost about $150.00 USD. We will eat here every year that we return.
*******Great resturant.
