Great Place!!Rated:![]() by Dalia Levy from USA Written 8 months ago | I just recently took a trip to Puerto Vallarta and was recommended this place. I loved it. It was lot of fun. The music was great and the food was great too. |
Great atmosphere, beautiful food....Rated:![]() by Mark and Lori Stevenson from USA Written 9 months ago | My wife and I were not sure if we wanted to go into a cuban place. We finally came in and had a beautiful lunch. Cuban food is made for sharing. We ordered rice, fried bananas, delicious black beans and tamarind shrimp. You serve a little of each in your plate and the flavors are wonderful. The friendly staff brought us some cuban mojo (onion, garlic and oil sauce), this even gave a better twist to the food.
The food was very good but the live cuban trio singing around the tables (for free) was great. La Bodeguita is famous for being the inventors of the famous Cuban Mojito. They sell hundreds of them and after 2 or 3 evrything becomes a lot of fun. We came back everyday either for lunch or dinner. At night is a very hot spot and there is even a larger music group to dance with. Don′t miss t, it is a great place in the malecon. |
Great Viewby Teri from USA, Houston, TxWritten 1 year ago | Food was delicious! Try the picadillo empanadas. We were in Puerta Vallarta for 8 days and ate at the Bodeguita twice. We sat downstairs near the window and had a great view of the malecon. The second time we sat upstairs at the window and the view was awesome. Ezspecially since we were there in the evening and got to enjoy sundown.
Awesome place. |
my favorite place in pvRated:![]() by caro from usa Written 1 year ago | I am a salsera from L.A. and was there for a week during the new year. By far a classy joint. Great place, location. Mojitos are easy to down, friendly staff brought me a stool to sit on,, guess our fancy salsa dancing got a lot of attention that everyone enjoyed, Met mexican locals who of coarse were warm and full of joy for life as are most the locals I met in puerto vallarta. Definetly my number one spot..must c. Paid 12 us dollars to get in..this included entrance and two ice cold beers..best deal I know for the best spot in town. |
Great DrinksRated:![]() by Kevin Stephens from Canada Written 2 years ago | The atmosphere is excellent and we had a great time with the staff and other patrons. Everyone was supper friendly and the mojitos were the best I have ever had |
Best Salsa music in PVRated:![]() by Valerie from USA Written 2 years ago | I love this place! The food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the music is authentic Cuban. My only complaints: no a/c, so it gets HOT in the summer; drain in the center of the dance floor - beware; and it doesn't stay open late enough!!! |
We had a blast at La Bodeguita!!by RJ from USAWritten 2 years ago | My wife and I celebrated my birthday at La Bodeguita del Medio in March of 2007. We arrived pretty early (around 5:30) and got a table with a great view of the Malecon. The Mojitos were just awesome -we drank 4 each. The service was outstanding and the Cuban Quartet went from table to table and played songs for us. They also play live salsa music starting at 9pm. The food was outstanding as well. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was perfect. We also got a Cuban sampler which I highly recommend - the chunk pork is delectible. This place is a must for PV! |
Karina from San Marinoby Karen from United StatesWritten 2 years ago | The best mojitos I've ever had. It's fun to sit upstairs and watch the activity on the street, with the warm breeze coming in. The food was good too! I can't wait to go back! |
best cuban food we've ever had!!!!!Rated:![]() by summer from united states Written 2 years ago | We spent a week in pv last summer, our third trip there but our first time hearing about this place. big fans of cuban fare so we made the trek from south pv to the malecon. we were surprised to see how well known this place was, w/ autographed pics of many afamous face adorning the grafitti covered walls . we went early evening and opted for a table upstairs with an excellent view of malecon and ocean. upside to a early meal was that there was no wait, choice of table, and sunset. downside ...the live music downstairs doesn't start till later. we had excellent fresh mojitos filled with mint leaves. the food was amazing. we ordered a fish and a chicken dinner with tons of rice and black beans. had to order extra plantains because we love them so much. this place had great atmosphere, good service and best cuban food we've ever tasted. we will definitely go back.we think they may have opened one in los angeles and are searching for it. my mouth's watering now. enjoy! |
