The steak/lobster/shrimp fajitas are top notch! Great chips and salsa too! The only negative thing I would say is that there's lot's of mosquitos around-we got eaten alive! It wouldn't stop me from coming back though since the food was so good. One of my favs in Nuevo Vallarta, a must try!

we have been coming to nuevo vallarta for 17 years. we were thrilled that we finally had a great place to go locally for a great dinner. service is excellent. Joel our waiter for the last many years always greets us with open arms and the best margarita one can have this side of P.V. fajitas are excellent with great portion sizes. do not forget to order the mayan cheese. incredible.I do recommend highly.

In the week we were there. Good food, good prices, outdoor casual atmosphere - fun.

My wife, daughter and 2 grandchildren all enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance at this open air restaurant across the street from the Grand Velas.

A friend from San Francisco had recommended this to us. We both ate here during the Winter Season, which I understand is the best time to avoid the flies and other insects which are prevalent during the summer season.

The food and service were excellent and the mango margaritas were even better.

I'd like to recommend this place to you if you like good food, drink and friendship during the cooler winter season.

This restaurant has the most amazing fajitas in Mexico. We have eaten at alot of restaurants, but this has the most extensive menu for your dining pleasure. We highly reccommend this one to anyone who is hungry because you get alot of food and great service. We have eaten there five times and always had a great meal and service.

we love this restaurant. Great chips and sals, You never leave hungry. This is the third year we are going back and each trip we eat at Fajita Republics at least twice.

We always start with fried cheese in a verde sauce in a piping hot lava bowl. Share this as it's big. Every trip we get the steamed Oaxaca fish w/ vegetables--again, a good dish to share. This is one of the best items on the menu. Service is a little slow most of the time, so don't expect a quick dinner. In January get tables near the water, in May-June near away from the big tables and bathroom--too many kids is May-June.

Don't go in the summer! This is an open-air restaurant and it is almost impossible to keep the flies off your food. We had to constantly keep our hands waving over our plates to attempt to eat. In the end, we couldn't eat much as it turned our stomach.

I went to Mexico in July 2006 and really wanted to try the local food being a big fan of mexican. Fajita republic was a really good restaurant, the food is well priced (far less than you would pay in the uk)and really good value for money. The only criticism would be the service, whilst the older guy (presumed the owner) was very professional, the lads working there hover over you waiting for you to finish and are pretty clumbsy too! i would definitely recommend giving it a go!
