Great foodRated:![]() by Jeffrey Davis from USA Written 23 days ago | One of the slightly hidden treasures of downtown PV. They also have an awesome selection of anejo tequilas. |
A Must VisitRated:![]() by Jan from canada Written 9 months ago | I am amazed that this was a quiet place. With the wonderfull experiance that I had there. Great food, fantastic friendly staff. And they know their tequila also. the made at our table salsa was wonderfull. |
Fantastico!Rated:![]() by Dano from USA Written 11 months ago | We ate there last spring, and the place was fantastic! They make an excellent sauces right at your table. The food was phenomenal, and very well priced while the atmosphere was a very clean, nuevo Mexican chic. The restaurant also includes a Tequila Bar (not at all tacky or bar-like as one might expect).
The staff was VERY courteous. We had eaten at some of the 'name' tourist restaurants everyone says you should go to, and this place beat the others hands down with no ridiculous lines as well! Eat here and you will NOT regret it! |
Charming atmosphere&delicious food!by Christina from USAWritten 1 year ago | My fiance and I were in PV to scout out sites for our wedding next year and was referred to the Agave Grill by our wedding coordinator for my birthday dinner. This place is adorable! Very small&quaint. The staff is wonderful and food is amazing!!! All of the restaurant staff surprised me with a huge tray that included a small chocolate cake baked in a corn husk&topped with a sparkling candle! They also added a scoop of vanilla icecream w/ cinnamon sprinkled on top and several fruit "animals" and wrote "happy birthday" in strawberry syrup. The grand finale was a shot of something that was put in front of me, set afire, and I was sternly instructed to drink fast! Will definitely return next year for our wedding week!

I love this place!Rated:![]() by Christine Cross from USA Written 2 years ago | Very cute and peaceful with a wonderful, friendly staff and amazing food (great mole!). The BEST coffee in Puerto Vallarta -- try the cafe de olla -- amazing! And we found our favorite tequila, Don German anejo, at this fabulous place. Also, one of the owners (Bill) is super nice. Enjoy! |

Reasonable Price, Great PresentationRated:![]() by Oscar Stiles from US Written 2 years ago | I first went to this place back in 2005 with my sister and Brother-in-law. It was very delicious and had a cantina sort of feel to it. When I went back with my wife in 2007 the food was just as excellent and the interior had been modified to give a more hacienda type atmosphere. Very great food at a good Price and the presentation of the food was also done very well. If you are adventurous I would highly recommend the Tequila tasting they have. Very fine tequilas that go down as smooth as water. |
Surprisingly goodby Cathy Whitney from USAWritten 2 years ago | My husband and I stopped in there for lunch the first week of May this year. The food was fantastic. We each had a salad, and the queso fundido. It was great to find a restaurant that served fresh lettuce with dressings that were out of this world. They made a salsa tableside in a molcajete that was simply delicious...we highly recommend, and will be back next year on our trip for dinner!!! |
Mole!Rated:![]() by shannon from USA Written 2 years ago | The mole from this restaurant haunts me still, several months after my trip. It was the best I've had in a long time. I went back twice on my trip (3 times in total over a month). I can't speak for a variety of dishes because each time I regressed back to the mole. |
