The Cuale Cultural Center invites you to be present for the screening of the documentary entitled "Caminos por Resolver" (Paths to Resolve), a production of the Centro de Estudios Universitarios Arkos. The event will be every Wednesday through October at 7:00pm at the Cuale Cultural Center auditorium. The entrance to each screenings is free.
Running 59 minutes, and subtitled in English and French, 'Caminos por Resolver' is a documentary that addresses the issue of vocational guidance. Four characters tell of how their decisions had affected the course of their lives. The audiovisual presentation applies to anyone who is not happy with what they are doing in their professional or their daily lives.
"Caminos por Resolver" assumes many of us are facing ourselves and our decisions. It has an educational aspect, communication, education, training and multi-disciplinary approach. It is currently part of the official selection of the 4th Annual International Film Festival in Mexico City (DOCSDF) to be held from October 15 to 24, where it is in competition in the Best Documentary category for Mexican Television. DOCSDF is the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City.
One assertion of "Caminos por Resolver" is that its format and its performance characteristics can be a supportive tool for vocational counselors, parents, and the general public to feel that what they are doing in their lives makes them happy.
According to its director, Jorge Arturo Montero, this is a work, from beginning to end, designed to help others and invite reflection. It stops being a vocational guidance work and borders along the line of the dreams and the fears of people; the dreams of being someone and fear of doing nothing.
