The Federación Mexicana de Atletismo (Mexican Federation of Athletics) and the Asociación de Atletismo del estado de Nayarit (Athletic Association of the State of Nayarit) invite you to participate in the 1st. Nuevo Vallarta Tourist Half Marathon, which will be held along the main roads of Nuevo Vallarta. The date is Sunday October 25 at 7:00am.
The competition is divided into male and female categories and each is subdivided into age groups. For the women, there will be 6 age categories ranging from 18 to 60 years and older, while in the men's division, will be a total of 8 categories starting from 18 years to 70 years and older. The awards will be made for the first 3 finishers in each division and category.
The official program begins on Friday, October 23, with the opening of the sports expo and delivery of the official information and numbers and from 12:00p.m. to 8:00pm, the same activities will take place on Saturday, October 24 with the addition of a carbohydrate loading meal for participants, the latter from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. This will take place at the Hotel Marival in Nuevo Vallarta. It is important that participants pick up the number that they will be wearing during the race, since they will not be delivered race-day.
The close of the event will be at 10:00am with the awards brunch at 11:30am at the Hotel Marival.
