Los Mangos Library invites you to enjoy the music of Sylvie Henry & Konbit, who will perform at the library on Friday October 16 at 7:00pm with the goal of bringing a high quality cultural event for the enjoyment of Puerto Vallartans. During the event, they will be asking for voluntary donations to cover only the cost of hosting this event.
Sylvie Henry, a native of Port au Prince, Haiti, promotes the folk music of her hometown and her people with an afro-jazz fusion, through the project Konbit, with which she makes every event animated with the sounds of: samba, jazz and folk music and each note is a delight of sound.
Sylvie Henry will also perform during the Nayarit Festival Amado Nervo on Saturday October 17th at about 8:00pm, in the main square of Bucerias, Nayarit. During the festival, there will be other musical performances. On October 16, at 8:00pm, the group Maraventho will perform at the Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle; Maraventho is a music art project that plays instrumental music and sings their own rhythmic and romantic as well as covers of Arabic, flamenco and Latin genres. At the same time, but this time on the beach in Sayulita, you can enjoy the Falsa Orquesta Cubana, which is based on a taste of the sounds of the Caribbean, with a lineup of 9 to 10 musicians, incorporating instruments such as the Cuban tres guitar, the flute and various forms of percussion.
On October 17, at about 8:00pm, Mario Blanco performs in San Pancho, Nayarit, with a more traditional format for songs, vocals and guitar; representing the troubadour of this period, strong in concept and committed to the time, space and song.
In addition, on October 17 at 7:00 pm, at Los Mangos Library, pianist, Alejandro Villarreal, will make his presentation accompanied by violinist Daniel Juárez Armenta, who will perform a violin and piano recital. He will perform again on October 25 at 9:00pm at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Downtown/Centro. Two days earlier, on October 23, in the same church at 9:00pm, will be the Sounds of the World Concert Tour in with violinist Tobías González and vocals by Gina La Corazza
