Next Thursday September 24, Mario Trova will perform a romantic evening of Trova music in a concert entitled "Mario Blanco Sings for Nuestra Tierra", which will take place in the Alejandra Salon of Velas Vallarta at 8:30pm. The group, GemaJAZZ, will be accompanying the troubadour.
The evening will be spectacular, aside from the sounds of guitar and the voice of Mario Blanco, this is a 100% charity concert with all proceeds going to benefit Nuestra Tierra A.C., a non-governmental civil organization that advocates for social welfare and the environment. Since 1996, this charity has been coordinating and supporting social development and nature conservation projects involving Mexican and international communities for social participation and achieving a better quality of life within a framework of justice and fairness.
With a traditional song format, voice and guitar, Mario Blanco is the troubadour of the times, strong of concept and committed of his time and space, but especially his songs to this cause. Aware of the difficulty of distributing his songs among the masses, he is steadfast in his style and his way of creating songs. Mario is a native of Tepic, Nayarit, with a romantic and bohemian village tradition. This trovador is convinced that his life and career has always proceeded in threes, street musicians, and folk groups and as soloist for the last 15 years.
Tickets will cost the general public $150 pesos and a special student price of $100 pesos. They are available in the Black & White Café & Bar and the offices of Nuestra Tierra, AC
