The Manuel Lepe Troupe, and municipal government invite you to see the children's play called "Lichita" (The Little Bag), authored by Marcella Lepe and including two musical numbers on Sunday, September 20 at Los Arcos del Malecon.
Lichita is a play for the whole family, with the collaboration of the Manuel Lepe acting troupe: Karen Alvaro, Brenda Macedo, Carlos Hernandez, Valeria Rodriguez and Solis Adalya who have voluntarily joined this project to benefit all of Puerto Vallarta. The original music is by well-known producer Charlie Santana. This play, which lasts 30 minutes, is aimed at all children to understand the message of the importance of separating and recycling their trash, and understanding recycling labels such as: organic, inorganic, and sanitary. The goal is to support the program that the city government has initiated for the separation of garbage in our city and its delegations to help support of the management of municipal public services.
This play will also go on the road, and be presented in many of the Colonias throughout the city bringing this important message to as many people as possible. Everyone is invited to take their children, nieces and nephews or even the neighborhood kids who wish to attend. Schools may also apply to have the play presented in the school for free; however only during the evening.
For information on the locations that will be showcasing Lichita or to request that it be presented at your school, please call 224-8506. Remember that entry for each and every showing will be completely free.
