La Revolución de Tony Colin

La Revolución Tony Colin is one, but has a number of pleasant surprises to discover.
A tradition of Mexico City bars is to offer free snacks along with drinks and without any increase in the drink price. And I'm not talking about peanuts and fried nibblies but rather, high quality full meals, from soups, salads, main dishes. These snacks are the pride of every bar and make the happy diners return again and again to enjoy the delicious free food.
This is the case of La Revolución de Tony Colin; a place where there will be snacks, but you can also go to eat along with a good drink. And so it happened the day we dropped in and got to know the place.
It has two main sections, the interior bar with a more relaxed atmosphere and the outdoor patio with its pleasant terrace where you can see people passing on the street. From every point you can see any of their screens and enjoy your favorite sports at La Revolución; also a sports bar.
As we entered, we opted for the terrace. They immediately offered us drinks to cool off in the sweltering heat of the street; beer and tequila to start. And here is where the good part begins; suddenly appearing at our table, a few cups of delicious shrimp bisque; tasty and not too spicy; a good start.
A little later came the ceviche tostadas, which along with the house sauce delighted us much; truly delicious. In this privileged setting, time flies and the best conversations are heard at the adjoining tables.
With another round came Sonora-style caguamanta (manta ray and shrimp) tacos, fish stew with herbs like bay leaf and other spices that completely delighted us.
The service is extremely friendly and they are always willing to ensure you have a very pleasant time.
If anyone does not want the snacks, they have a varied menu that caters to all tastes and at very reasonable prices. For example: I can cite that the order of shrimp with your choice of flavorings is only $89 pesos. They also serve breakfast. The food service ends at 6:00pm.
This is a great place to celebrate national holidays. Come back another time because each day they offer a different snack menu.
