Adult ReviewRated:![]() by Monica from Calgary from Canada Written 7 months ago | The food was superb and staff in the restaurants were very good. The adult pool was un-supervised. It was full of parents who brought their kids into the adult pool area with their pool floatees and the kids were splashing. There is no policing for the adult pool. The pool chairs are few as they are all reserved early in the morning even though the sign says no reserving of chairs. People were putting their beach towels on the chairs and then going back to the hotel. Most of the chairs were taken by kids. |
Relaxing vacationRated:![]() by rachael susman from US Written 7 months ago | I just came back from the Riu Jalisco resort and had such a wonderful time that I felt obligated to write a review. The hotel offers the best "back yard" of all the facilities in the area with its beautifully manicured grounds and rows of stately palm trees, and has tremendous charm for being such a large resort. The staff were universally friendly and professional, the rooms and public areas were clean and well maintained, and the buffets offered a dizzying array of choices even for picky eaters. The evening shows were worth attending, too. Mexican tourism has recently received some bad press, and at least in the Puerto Vallarta region and at the Riu Jalisco, that press is entirely undeserved.
