Marival Grand & Club Suites Category 5 stars

My wife and I have been going to Marival for the past 4 years and would highly recommend it to anyone. The food is great, the accomodations are clean and the staff are very nice especially if you take the time to talk to them. A number of them have become quite good friends over the years.The nightly entertainment although not Vegas is really quite good. Your holiday will be as good as you want it to be because the staff are there to make it happen. We are booked again for Feb 09 and will be back for years to come, god willing.

I see the Grand Marival is touted as a great Family resort. My husband and I spent a week there a few years ago - we are in our late 50's/early 60's. It was a great place for couples looking for a bit of peace and quiet.

The beaches were spectacular, the food was tasty and they had good variety even in the buffet. The rooms were very comfortable and amazingly they had delicious coffee and made a mean espresso.

We are making a return visit after 3 years and are hoping to have the same experience.

Does anyone remember if there are hairdryers in the rooms?

I was there in 2001,2002,2005,2007 with the Mac's Convenient Stores.
Very friendly people and excelent service. Hope to be there in 2009 or 2010, what a wonderful place.

I went here last spring break! the hotel is great! the food is great! the people are great! this place is great to just let go of stress and kick back on a great hot day! i would definetly recommend it to anyone!

I thought the food at La Bamba was incredible I mean like the pizza and everything else I couldn't believe it also the Bella vista AMAZING the pool: Awesome facilities rooms man oh man crazy awesome

Make sure to reserve at the restaurants as soon as you get there. Food is superb at the restaurants but not so at the buffet.

They were very good about having rooms together as requested. Facilities were showing signs of wear and some of the equipment was poorly maintained.

Make sure to bring your own cups for the drinks pool side as the cleaning left something to be desired and there were no plastic disposable cups. As with all these places, while they say tipping is not required and is included with the "all inclusive", if you would like to get a drink more than once a half hour, TIP!

I went to the maraval last year with my family and we had an amazing time. The swim up bar was amazing with spectacular drinks and a wonderful staff. The food and shows were amazing. We went their on the 4th of July and they put on fireworks for the Americans. The location is awesome and great for all ages. The malecon was also amazing. If you are thinking about going to the Maraval stop thinking and go NOW!! You won't regret it. :)

The Marival Suites is absolutely amazing! My husband and I just got back 2 days ago! (we stayed 5 days, 4 nights). The buffet was our favorite! All of the workers were also bilingual!
The resort also has shows every evening, which were very entertaining! (there is also a disco)
This place is SPECTACULAR!!! I definitely recommend it!

Vacationed at the Marival the first week of March 08. The facility is wonderful with exceptional staff.



Very liberal with the alcohol drinks. The buffet wasn't that great but the individual restaurants were a lot better. The snack bars were exceptional. You could easily make a full meal at the snack bars.



The facility is remarkable. Lots to do. The kids pool is fabulous. Next time we will take our small child.



There isn't anything at this hotel that wouldn't fit everyone.



I highly recommend this hotel and location.

i have been to this hotel 3 times 1 on my own and 2 with my partner. we are due there again in june this yr for our 1 yr anniversary and could not wish or dream for a better set of friends and service and holiday.we thank you so much and please dont change a thing. its hard to improve on perfection. see you all soon
