The standard room with two twin beds can be pushed together for a king-size bed. This room is excellent for two single travelers or a couple. Private bath, dresser, and fan.

The hotel opened in 1954 and is a reminder of the quiant town Vallarta was. Peter O'Toole, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were frequent visitors.

This lovely garden restaurant is quite often the setting or an intimate engagement dinner, anniversary or special birthday. Chez Elena caters to both small and large groups upon request, as well as private dinner parties, capable of serving as many as 100 people. Closed during low season.

Nostalgic, tranquil, unplugged

I love this hotel. It's a bit of "old" Vallarta tucked away on a narrow stone street not far from the old cathedral. Breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace. Only 18 Rooms, small and simply furnished. No phones, no TV -- but I like it that way! Beautiful cascading flowers and bushes around the main level patio. Small, but refreshing swimming pool -- a little awkward getting in and out, since there is only an aluminum step ladder to get in. No way to "lounge," but that's okay. The charm of this place makes up for the small inconveniences -- like no elevator and steps leading everywhere...not for the disabled! Nice restaurant, and snacks on the roof terrace are great. Try the guacamole and chips and watch the sun go down on the bay.

While I have never stayed at the hotel I have
eaten at the wonderful resturant many times and have never been disappointed. I was the sales
director for the Original Hotel Garza Blanca and this was one of the few places we recommended for a romantic evening out. Always great food and friendly service.

The best hotel EVER!!!

I just love this hotel and I stay there everytime I go the PV.The roof top is the best view ever, the atmosphere is great. Gloria and her crew always make you feel welcome. Its my home away from home...and I go often
